My experience with Elantis Hospital (Lajpat Nagar IV) through Pristyn Care was extremely disappointing, mainly because of poor communication and lack of coordination between the Pristyn Care coordinators and the hospital. Before this, my family had a good experience with Pristyn Care for other surgeries, which is why we trusted them again for my mother-in-law's gallbladder stone surgery. Unfortunately, this time the experience was completely different. The first admission was cancelled after all the required tests had already been done. Initially, we were informed that we only needed to pay a ₹2,000 deposit and that the remaining expenses would be covered through insurance. However, after the surgery was cancelled, we were unexpectedly asked to pay additional hospital charges before discharge. Part of the amount was refunded later, but we still had to bear expenses that were never clearly explained beforehand. We were advised to repeat a thyroid test and return after a week. Once the thyroid report came back normal, we were directly asked to get admitted again. We were told that the surgery was scheduled for 9:30 AM, but after admission we were informed that more tests, including an Echo and Ultrasound, were required before surgery. These are investigations that, in my opinion, should have been communicated well in advance. Because these tests were not available in the hospital, we had to take my elderly mother-in-law outside to another diagnostic centre after admission. I appreciate that a hospital staff member accompanied us and arranged transport, which was helpful. However, the additional testing was expensive and could have been avoided with better planning and communication. What disappointed me the most was not just the extra cost, but the repeated lack of clarity. Had we been properly informed before admission, we could have completed all the necessary investigations in advance and avoided unnecessary admissions, delays, stress and expenses. By the time the surgery was still pending, we had already spent around ₹22,000 on admissions, tests and related charges despite the surgery not being performed. This was financially and emotionally exhausting for our family. My intention is not to discourage anyone from seeking treatment here, but to advise future patients to meet the doctor personally before admission, ask for a complete list of required tests, understand the expected costs, and get everything confirmed in writing. Doing this may help avoid the confusion and unexpected expenses that we experienced. I sincerely hope both Elantis Hospital and Pristyn Care improve their communication and coordination so that other patients do not have to go through a similar experience. Despite everything, I would also like to appreciate the people who genuinely tried to help us. Mr. Vikas and Mr. Bhupinder from the billing team were patient and supportive in resolving our concerns. The Centre Head (I unfortunately don't remember her name) was also very understanding and tried her best to help. Dr. Piyush listened to my concerns seriously and coordinated with the concerned surgeon, Dr. Rakesh, after which the situation became much more sorted. I would also like to thank Ali, who was on duty, and the RMO, who were both polite and helpful. I have no complaints about the nursing staff or the hospital staff, as they were simply following their protocols. In my opinion, the real issue was not the behaviour of the hospital staff but the lack of coordination between Pristyn Care and the hospital. I sincerely request both teams to communicate all expected tests, admission requirements, insurance coverage and possible patient expenses with each other before asking a patient to get admitted. This would save families from unnecessary confusion, repeated admissions and unexpected financial stress.
They were providing excellent service, doctors and their staffs are really amazing
Very bad decision to go at elantis, doctors didnt even examined properly the wound, looked from far and just write the medicine whole conversation got ended up in 3 minutes. Totally waste of time.
