Very Poor Experience — 0/5 if I could give it I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience at Pristyn Care Sheetla Hospital, New Railway Road, Gurugram, on 27 July 2026. I went to the hospital with a fever and was initially asked to deposit ₹5,000, with the understanding that any unused amount would be refunded at discharge. Later, Dr. Deepak Yadav told me that I needed to be shifted to the ICU for overnight monitoring and asked for another ₹15,000 deposit. I clearly told them that I did not have that amount and did not want to be admitted under those circumstances, but I was still shifted to the ICU. During the night, I repeatedly told the staff that I was hungry and needed something to eat. I was repeatedly told that the doctor was coming, but no one came to attend to this concern. In my opinion, the ICU stay did not feel justified by the level of treatment and monitoring I actually received. At discharge, I noticed that consultation charges for Dr. Deepak Verma had been added to my bill, even though, to the best of my recollection, he never came to see me. When I questioned the charge, I was simply told that it had been added. I also tried to speak to the doctor directly, but he left without meeting me. The refund experience was equally frustrating. I was told that my ₹5,000 deposit would be refunded through NEFT. I followed up repeatedly over the next several days, but I did not receive a clear or satisfactory response. I was passed from one person to another — reception, Dr. Deepak Yadav, Murari ji, and finally administration/Soniya ji — without getting a proper resolution. What concerned me even more was what happened on 1 August 2026, when my health became significantly worse and I was unable to get up properly. I called the hospital seeking medical assistance and was told that it was Saturday and the doctor had left. When I asked if I could come to the hospital and speak to my doctor by phone, I was told that the doctor switches off the phone on Saturdays and turns it back on Monday. For a patient who may be seriously unwell, I found this response extremely concerning. Overall, my experience was very poor. I felt that communication, patient care, billing transparency, and follow-up were seriously lacking. I would strongly recommend that management look into these issues, especially the ICU admission, consultation charges, emergency doctor availability, and refund process. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this hospital to anyone, particularly someone who may arrive in a serious or emergency condition. This review reflects my personal experience and concerns as a patient.
