Dear Dr. Haridarshan / Management Team, I am writing to express my serious disappointment and concern regarding the treatment my mother received for piles under Dr. S. J. Haridarshan approximately four months ago. My mother underwent laser treatment for piles with the expectation that she would recover normally. Unfortunately, after the procedure, she suffered significant pain and complications. She developed pus/infection in the treated area and continued to experience considerable discomfort even after taking the medicines prescribed. I repeatedly tried to contact the doctor regarding her condition. However, I was unable to speak to the doctor directly. I was asked through the doctor's assistant to continue taking the tablets, but my mother's pain and problems continued. When I contacted the doctor again, I was informed that he was not available. I also contacted Manoja, who had helped arrange the procedure, but we were still unable to get the level of medical assistance and follow-up that we expected. Due to my mother's continued suffering, I eventually consulted another doctor. After examination, we were advised that further treatment was required, and my mother ultimately had to undergo another procedure. As a son, it was extremely distressing to watch my mother suffer for months after what we believed would be a straightforward treatment. My biggest concern is not only the outcome of the procedure but also the lack of proper and timely post-operative support when complications arose. I am sharing this feedback so that other patients and their families carefully consider all aspects of the treatment, including possible risks, expected recovery, and the availability of proper follow-up care before proceeding. I request the hospital/clinic management to take this complaint seriously, review my mother's case and the post-operative care provided, and provide an explanation regarding what happened and why adequate follow-up was not provided when my mother continued to experience pain and complications. I sincerely hope no other patient or family has to go through the experience that my mother and our family have gone through.
