Absolutely one of the worst experiences I’ve had just trying to book a doctor’s appointment. I completely understand being asked a few basic questions while scheduling, but I was asked for an excessive amount of personal and medical information - details I would normally discuss directly with the doctor during the consultation. When I questioned this, I was told that the doctors are extremely senior and therefore need these details beforehand. What was more concerning was the impression that the seriousness and nature of the patient’s condition is assessed over the phone before deciding whether to take the patient and which doctor to assign. Since when does an appointment-booking call determine whether a patient’s issue is appropriate or serious enough for a particular doctor? Isn’t that what a medical consultation is for? Some preliminary screening is understandable, but there needs to be a reasonable boundary. The entire experience felt unnecessarily intrusive and frustrating. For an establishment with such senior doctors, I expected a far more professional and patient-friendly appointment process. Lastly if this is claiming that he is the best ENT specialist in Bangalore, then i would question 100 times if this is how you wanna treat a patient before even meeting him! Pls go to this doctor in your own terms! Extremely dissatisfied and frustrated!
