I underwent fistula and fissure surgery through Pristyn Care (third-party service). Overall, my experience with the treatment was good, but I would like to share a few suggestions based on my experience. Initially, I was informed that the procedure would be done using laser surgery. However, at the last moment, when I was already on the operating table, I was told that laser surgery would not be done and that the procedure would involve cutting. This made me quite nervous, as the change was communicated only at the last moment. After the surgery, I was informed that laser surgery had actually been performed, which made me relieved and happy. However, I feel the communication regarding the procedure should have been much clearer and explained properly before the surgery, rather than at the last moment. Another concern was the post-surgery follow-up. After the procedure, I did not receive much guidance regarding medicines, food restrictions, precautions, or further care. The doctor also did not come to check on me again after the surgery. I feel proper post-operative instructions and follow-up are very important, especially after a procedure like this. My suggestion to patients: If you are planning to undergo treatment through a third-party service such as Pristyn Care, please make sure you directly clarify all details with the doctor beforehand, including the exact procedure, whether laser or conventional surgery will be performed, medicines, dietary restrictions, and follow-up care. My experience with Pristyn Care was that their communication and support were good initially, but when the payment/amount was being processed, they were in regular contact. At the later stage, when I needed clarification or assistance, getting a response was more difficult. Overall, I appreciate the treatment, but I strongly feel that clear communication, proper post-operative guidance, and regular follow-up with the patient can be improved.
