Extremely Disappointing Experience with Dr.Emmanuel stephen and Pristine Care! I had a consultation with Dr. Emmanuel stephen through the Pristine Care app because I was suffering from pain and needed proper medical advice. Honestly, this was one of the most disappointing and frustrating consultation experiences I have ever had. Instead of listening to my concerns and understanding my actual problem, the doctor kept talking about LASIK surgery repeatedly. LASIK surgery, LASIK surgery, LASIK surgery! Is that the only thing a patient should hear when they come seeking help for their pain? What is the point of a consultation if the doctor is not even willing to listen properly to the patient's concerns? The doctor's behavior was extremely rude, disrespectful, and unacceptable. A doctor should know how to communicate with patients politely and professionally. Instead, I felt as though I was being scolded rather than treated with respect. Patients come to doctors looking for help and reassurance, not to be treated rudely. What made this experience even more frustrating was that I later visited KMCH Hospital for a second opinion. After examining me, the doctor there advised that surgery was not necessary at that point and recommended medication and dietary changes to help manage the pain. This left me seriously questioning the quality of the consultation I had received earlier. My biggest disappointment is not just the medical advice, but the complete lack of patience, proper listening, and respectful communication during the consultation. Being a doctor is not just about recommending procedures,it is also about listening to patients and treating them with dignity. I also want to clarify that my consultation was arranged through the Pristine Care app. Patients should verify the doctor's affiliation and the responsibilities of the platform and hospital before booking. SGR Hospital is not responsible for Dr. Emmanuel Stephen. He operates independently at the hospital. My experience was extremely disappointing, and I would not choose to have another consultation under these circumstances. I sincerely hope the concerned parties take patient feedback seriously and improve both their consultation standards and the way patients are treated. Patients deserve to be heard, respected, and properly examined. This experience fell far short of those expectations.
